Gain a deep understanding of thermal power plant operations and commercial models to ensure alignment between innovation initiatives and core business objectives.
Identify and evaluate future business opportunities that support the company’s long-term strategy, including ammonia and biomass co-firing, carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS), and other low-carbon or alternative energy technologies.
Lead and coordinate research collaborations with universities, research institutes, and technical experts on topics related to emerging technologies, innovative resource applications, and sustainable energy solutions.
Develop and maintain productive relationships with key external stakeholders, including domestic and international companies, academic institutions, research organizations, consultants, and technology providers.
Monitor and analyze government policies, funding mechanisms, and strategic directions relevant to the energy, environmental, and industrial sectors.
Track global and regional trends in energy sources—such as coal, natural gas, ammonia, and hydrogen—and assess their potential impact on the company’s operations and strategic direction.
Prepare clear, well-structured reports and presentations to support senior management in decision-making and project prioritization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy, Environmental Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus but not required.
3–5 years of experience in energy-related projects, business development, research coordination, or technical support—preferably within the power or industrial sector.
Basic understanding of thermal power plant operations and interest in emerging energy technologies such as carbon capture, ammonia, and biomass.
Experience working on research or feasibility studies, including collaboration with academic or technical institutions, is an advantage.
Strong ability to analyze government policies, market trends, and technical information to support strategic planning.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external partners.
Proficiency in Thai and English (both spoken and written)
Strong project management, research, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, and willing to learn new technologies and industry developments.
